Tween Photo session in a Chapel Hill NC "wheat" field.

Shooting in a field creates a great opportunity for your subject to pop out from a simple backdrop. I shot these with my Canon 6D and 135mm F2 lens. I shot wide open at F2 to create the softness around my subject - my daughter. The sun was in & out. I took advantage of my lighting by back lighting her against the sun dropping behind her to create a glow around her. I had my 600 EX RT Speedlight on a tripod off to the other side to illuminate her face.  When the sun was low enough I shot her with the sun giving the front lighting and turned of my flash for some.
